Delete your account
You can permanently delete your account for The Fridge (the household planner app) and the data linked to it, either in the app or on this page.
In the app
Open the Household tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
What gets deleted
- Your login (email address and password)
- Your profile name, colour and photo
- Your week plans (in, late or out each day)
- Your notification settings and this phone's push tokens
Notes, events and shopping items you posted for your household stay for the other members. If you're the last person in your household, the whole household and everything in it is deleted. If you're the household's only owner and others are still in it, make someone else an owner first.
Deletion happens straight away. We don't keep a copy, apart from routine database backups that are overwritten within 7 days.
Delete on the web
Sign in with the email and password you use in the app.
Forgotten your password? Use "Forgot password?" in the app to reset it first. Can't sign in at all? Email support@thefridgeapp.app from your account's email address and we'll delete it for you.
